Make It With Malt-O-Meal Recipe Contest

Contestants make any food creation with any Malt-O-Meal brand cold cereal.
Judging: Friday, October 1st at 7:00 pm

Fleischmann’s® Yeast® “Bake For The Cure®” Contest

2 categories: the 1st features yeast breads of any type and flavor. The second calls for the top “Whole Grain Bread,” recipes with at least 50% whole grains. Judging: Saturday, October 2nd at 11:00 am

The Great American Spam™ Championship Contest

Classic and traditional recipes are turned into SPAMSATIONAL™ dishes with the magic of the SPAM® Family of Products.

Winston-Salem Journal’s Main Dish Salad Contest

Contestants must pepare a cold entree salad and must prominently feature some kind of protein (i.e., meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, legumes).
Judging: Saturday, October 2nd at 7:00 pm

King Arthur Flour “Great Cake” Contest

Contestants must bake their cake using King Arthur Flour.  Any type or shape of cake is welcome.  No mixes for the batter may be used.  Any frostings or toppings are allowed, with themes and decorations encouraged.

Village Tavern’s Favorite Soup Contest

Create the most flavorable soup that your skills and creativity can impress our judges.  Soups of all style, every occasion including creamy chowders, chilled soups, rich bisques, spicy gumbos are some examples.

Karo Corn Syrup “Perfect Pie” Contest

Any new pie recipe or perfect family favorite made with the natural sweetness of Karo Corn Syrup.

Piedmont Books “Meatballs in Marinara Sauce” Contest

Challenge yourself to create the best tasting Meatballs with Marinara Sauce, meatballs and sauce must be placed together in one serving dish.

Lowes Foods “Original Holiday Appetizer” Contest

Contestants use imagination, creativity and Lowes Foods Brand products to create a recipe for your favorite holiday appetizer.
Judging: Wednesday, October 6th at 7:00 pm

Ghirardelli Chocolate Championship Contest

Featuring decadent chocolate desserts and treats made with Ghirardelli premium baking products.
Judging: Thursday, October 7th at 7:00 pm

WBFJ Heavenly Layered Cake Contest

Contestants enter their favorite layered cakes that family and church friends are crazy about.

Smitty’s Fried Apple Pie Contest

Contestants serve up their favorite, family heirloom fried apple pies.

KC Masterpiece “Real Deal” Recipe Contest

2 categories:  Contestants compete for the “Best Barbecue” and best “Wild Card” creation using KC Masterpiece.

22nd Annual “Homemade Ice Cream” Contest

This year’s contest is for the best original “Chocolate” ice cream recipe.
